Bodhidharma said, 'Empty, without holiness.' When the emperor asked, 'Who is facing me?' Bodhidharma replied, 'Don't know.' 'Don't know' is a method in which the mind does not spend all its time lost in thinking and does not seek what it knows already. It is 'openness'. Yet to some people the suggestion 'don't know' is taken to mean 'don't know anything' or even that the view is against education, and which is because people take things to mean something literally, and even absolutely. If one is a 'don't know' buddhist or, say, libertarian, how would they know it? If knowledge is absolutely necessary, how can you sleep at night? Don't know buddhists don't exist. Don't know don't exist. Did it work? Don't know libertarians won't exist. Don't know won't exist. I think we've got something. Don't know dumbshits can't exist. Don't know can't exist. That's sort of like 'knockin' her up and standin' up without a shotgun', but Dionysus Makes A Girl preceded what I did today in an email, 'Dionysus Makes A Boy'. Ol' AJ once snickered that I was 'tap dancing', once, in a chat, at Future Philosophy. Perhaps he would have appreciated the remark about trading two Isles of Wight for two Iles de Shite, and what was conceived, and what was being conceived, and what is art, and it is not that I am criticizing AJ, whom I always liked, and he is certainly welcome here, and no one need be subjected to having to admit he is not any candidate for The Equine School and it isn't a school like that anyway, and maybe he would have enjoyed that art, and which I will try to get going again, now that we're all so interested in this forum. So bring back dear Sher and let her argue here; Dan Rodent is not fit to even write here, but by all means let Quinn and Solvent come spar with me when their own morons can't be around to mistake you rigging the game for being reasonable. Oh that little piece about 'sheltered workshops' was so good, and that alone is worth the price of admission to the two Iles de Shite concerts I'm planning for ... Soon! Uncle Death! Another of the new Robert Can Outthink Those Morons characters, coming when I feel like writing more of it.
